Boris Continuum Complete (BCC) 10 for Avid

The first fruits of the recent merger between Boris FX and Imagineer Systems has produced Boris Continuum Complete 10 for Avid post production systems—the largest release in the company’s history.

The recent merger between Boris FX and the Academy Award-winning developer of mocha Planar Tracking tools, Imagineer Systems, has resulted in the largest release of tools for advanced visual effects, title design and image restoration for Avid post production systems -- Boris Continuum Complete (BCC) 10 for Avid.

“This is our first joint release,” Boris Yamnitsky, president and founder of Boris FX told The Broadcast Bridge. “We are leveraging the best technologies of both companies to give post production specialists a whole new palette of tools to expand their digital content creation capabilities.”

BCC 10 for Avid delivers the most comprehensive plug-in package for Avid editors from Boris FX to date and also includes new filters, new transitions, and a new subscription/rental option.

“For Avid editing and finishing, the integration of mocha planar tracking and masking into Continuum Complete is a game changer and beta testers from the Avid editing community have given us excellent feedback,” Yamnitsky added, “and we look forward to delivering BCC 10 for Adobe, Apple, Blackmagic Design’s Da Vinci Resolve, and more hosts very soon.”

Yamnitsky went on to detail some of the most exciting new features of Boris Continuum Complete 10 for Avid exclusively for The Broadcast Bridge.

“The first one is BCC Title Studio, our next generation 2D/3D titling and motion graphics tool for designing and animating title opens, lower thirds and credit sequences at any resolution,” he began. “You can see the extruded text and the 3D model of a basketball in the background created in BCC Title Studio Cinema 4D.
