DigiTurk Selects Barnfind for ASI to Fiber Links

Digiturk, Turkey, a global DTH operator has selected Barnfind’s 1RU platform, BarnOne, to serve as a ASI to Fiber Transceiver. The BarnOne platform based on the universal SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable)modules. BarnOne accept SFP products to the MSA standard. It offers in one frame functions including fiber transport, PtP, WDM, CWDM, DWDM, routing, embedding, IP/ASI conversion, distribution, add/drop/pass, HDMI, SNMP and offers easy integration to other 3rd party control systems.

Barnfind has several of its BTF1-02 frames in operation at Digiturk in Headend system and their main purpose is to serve as a ASI over Fiber transceivers. Digiturk is happy with the flexibility that Barnfind gives them on ASI routing and transmission and Mr. Aykut IMEN at Digiturk says that: “Barnfind is a reliable, responsive partner and proved their understanding and professionalism in this field.”

Wiggo Evensen, CEO of Barfind states: “This is a very good win for us in Turkey and we see many similar projects globally. It is now common to see Barnfind being used by Telco operators for distribution applications, as well as a growing trend to use Barnfind by companies in video production in both standard and remote camera position applications”.
