PlayBox Prepares Several IBC Introductions

New PlayBox Technology innovations and developments will be on display at IBC 2015. Improvements in the high-performance AirBox universal playout and streaming automation solution as well as the hyper-efficient TitleBox CG and graphics generator will be on display at the September international trade event.

PlayBox Technology has prepared a variety of new and upgraded products to show and demonstrate at IBC 2015. Featured solutions include the Channel In a Box integrated video and graphics playout. New this year in the integrated CIB solution is 4K SDI output support in addition to multi-channel RTMP streaming and integrated SurCode for Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby E.

Also new this year are TitleBox IP for the NewTek TriCaster. It provides full integration with a TriCaster 4K output, and is specially designed for channel branding. TitleBox IP delivers on-air graphics which can be controlled interactively. Multi-layered simultaneous crawls, rolls, animated logos, clocks and text templates can be activated by a mouse click. TitleBox IP provides total control during on-air sessions, including text selection, running speed and transitions.

Another new PlayBox product is the SocialMediaBox, which puts all social media on a single screen. Accessed via a standard web browser, SocialMediaBox enables program production and presentation creators to incorporate comments from multiple social network feeds quickly and efficiently into a single ready-for-broadcast stream.

Also on show will be a technology demonstration of CloudAir, a next generation solution.
