XenData debuts archive solutions to support Sony ODA

XenData is introducing three new models to its SX-10 Archive Appliance range to manage Sony’s Optical Disc Archive (ODA) external drives and libraries. These new SX-10 models allow users of a wide range of Media Asset Management (MAM) systems to archive their media assets to Sony’s highly stable ODA cartridges.

Described as ideal for low cost and long-term media file retention, the combined Sony-XenData archive solutions “seek to meet the needs of professionals that require highly reliable protection for their valuable media assets and are tasked with freeing up additional space on primary storage.”

The SX-10 will be demonstrated managing a Sony ODS-L30M at NAB on both Xendata and Sony booths.
