ToolsOnAir debuts remote file transfer solutions

​Austrian engineering firm ToolsOnAir is debuting two new products at NAB next month. These include mb:cast for transfering video over an internet connection such as from shooting location to the studio.

It can also be used in store-and-forward workflows as a file transfer software with integrated transcoding and a streaming engine to accelerate file delivery in time critical situations like news gathering or sports coverage.

Also new are the mb:cast server which is installed at the production site, and the mb:cast streamer transmission software.
