DAD Adds ST 2110-30 Functionality To Thunder | Core, Penta And AX32 Product Lines

Digital Audio Denmark [DAD] announces that ST 2110-30 Audio over IP connectivity is now available for the brand’s audio interfaces, including the Thunder | Core series, Penta series, and AX32, via a new ST 2110/Ravenna/AES67 Card and free corresponding updates to the brand’s DADman control software and device firmware settings.

These updates make DAD products more compatible with IP Ethernet Audio Formats which the company says makes them more flexible, capable, and easy to use than ever before. Software updates are available now for free download.

Increased flexibility and compatibility
“We design DAD interfaces with the idea of the widest possible format compatibility in mind so that we can best serve the needs of audio professionals in every corner of the industry,” explains DAD COO Mikael Vest. “The addition of ST 2110-30 Network Capabilities, implemented on our current Dante platform as well as with our new Ravenna/AES 67/ST 2110 I/O card, make our devices more usable for the AoIP workflows of the broadcast and live audio markets, and provide added flexibility and control for the professionals working within them.”

The release package provides support of ST 2110 across the Dante SRC Card, Ravenna SRC Card, Thunder | Core, Penta and AX32 product ranges. Functionality is specific to each device or configuration while still providing the same high quality connectivity, flexibility, and control. DADman version 5.8.2 provides ST 2110-30 support for all products as well as support for the new 128 ch. CARD-RAVENNA Ravenna/ST 2110-30/AES67 SRC I/O Card.
