DAD Adds Tactile Control To Thunder | Core Series With Junior Control | Pack Controller

Digital Audio Denmark [DAD] announces Junior – a compact, hands-on controller for the brand’s flagship Thunder | Core series of audio interfaces.

Junior’s customizable physical control surface enables seamless, real-time operation of pre-configured Control | Pack settings, making the interfaces more flexible and easy to use.

The Control | Pack functionality of DAD’s DADman software provides native switching between any set of sources to output destinations – enabling an additional layer of playback redundancy and show control to all Thunder | Core products. Junior provides tactile control of these Control | Pack routing presets via its customizable set of RGB Led illuminated buttons, status LEDs, and character displays. The unit can be connected to any Thunder | Core device via Ethernet and deployed accordingly. Junior is supported by DADman version 5.8 and Thunder | Core firmware version 1.1.0.3 and onward.

DAD Junior Features

  • 6 RGB Led illuminated buttons, 6 RGB status Leds and 6 character displays are available.
  • Control via Ethernet.
  • Powered via PoE or external power supply.
  • 4 of the buttons are dedicated switching between Control Pack Buckets, and 4 Leds and displays are showing status and names.
  • 2 buttons are dedicated lock functionality, the engineering menu and selection of Routing Preset.
