DAIClass middleware is a new solution powering dynamic ad insertion for linear channels.
Anevia integration gives service providers the ability to monetize their content by targeting live stream ads to specific regions or individual users.
mediaClass recently announced that it is finalizing the integration of DAIClass into its end-to-end OTT multiscreen platform. DAIClass is a new capability powering dynamic ad insertion for linear channels.
DAIClass is a new capability powering dynamic ad insertion for linear channels. It is powered by Anevia DAI-enabled video delivery software. mediaClass presented its latest technology at IBC 2019 in Amsterdam. Until now, mediaClass has offered ad insertion for video-on-demand channels and advertisement-based video-on-demand portals with the integration of advertising engines such as Freewheel.
mediaClass CTO Stilian Tcholakov comments, "Targeted linear dynamic ad insertion is not as simple as many claim. We have been developing DAIClass for some time based on components from Anevia to support ad preparation, ad enabling, ad stitching and ad routing. Partnering with a single provider offering all these different components pre-integrated greatly simplifies the development of this new feature. The mediaClass and Anevia teams are working closely together. Currently in beta, DAIClass will be officially launched in Q4 2019."
mediaClass EVP Manelli Hosseini adds: “One of the features most commonly requested by our existing and prospective customers has been dynamic ad insertion which is clearly an important source of funding for OTT services. I am very excited at the further differentiation this brings to our solutions. Together with our disruptive pricing it means we are offering leading edge technology at much lower total cost than any of our competitors.”
Already deployed and operational in five countries and 10 languages, mediaClass offers TV service providers and broadcasters the opportunity to implement full OTT multi-screen infrastructure designed with efficiency and stability for any scale of deployment. mediaClass features multi-DRM, easy OSS/BSS integration, advanced CMS, content provisioning, VOD management, DVR and multi-tenant capabilities. Client software includes superfast IP and hybrid set-top-box software based on Linux and Android STBs, and mobile clients for iOS and Android devices. mediaClass has full IPTV integrated services for new and legacy multicast-based systems. Other features include highly efficient implementation requiring less server power and scalability testing to more than 20 million client devices.
