Ravenna Partners Will Showcase Technology At AES’s AVoIP Pavilion Theater

Ravenna Demo Rack.
As the migration to IP workflows continues, Ravenna’s partners will present a wide range of Ravenna-related topics as part of the AIMS/AES AVoIP Pavilion Theater program.
Of the six demo pods within the AVoIP Pavilion at AES, four are occupied by Ravenna partners where they will be demonstrating interoperability between all four pods.
Topics to be covered range from how to configure the technology to sessions on using the IP technology for intercoms. Other topics include discussions on audio metadata transport, audio monitoring solutions for AoIP and innovation through open technologies.
ALC NetworX’s Andreas Hildebrand, who is a recognized authority on all things concerning AoIP networking and current standards, will host several sessions.
Demos of real-time audio metadata transport using Ravenna's AM824/SMPTE ST 2110-31 format can be seen at the pavilion. The Ravenna demo rack can be seen in action as well, connected to equipment of other vendor pods.
Ravenna is a technology for real-time distribution of audio and other media content in IP-based network environments. Utilizing standardized network protocols and technologies, it can operate on existing network infrastructures.
