Facilis Uses Qualstar LTO Libraries For New Object Cloud Integrated Archive and Backup

Facilis virtualizes Cloud and LTO, making archived projects available immediately through object storage on the server and client desktops.

Facilis has joined with LTO data storage developer to provide high-performance media archival solutions. The Facilis Object Cloud virtualizes Cloud and LTO storage into a cache volume on the server, making media available on client desktops through the Facilis Shared File System. As part of a structured data archive workflow, LTO technology offers a reliable and cost-effective data retention solution for long term archive of media assets.
