Atech Flash Technology (AFT) has announced their latest workflow product, the Blackjet TX-1S reader for Sony SxS media cards.
Atech said the Blackjet TX-1S utilizes the large bandwidth 40Gbps of Thunderbolt 3, which allows users to ingest, edit and archive creative content simultaneously at their maximum speeds. It also solves the hot-plug issue that was common in previous Sony SxS media readers.
The Blackjet TX-1S will also support the latest Sony SxS PRO-X series cards which can reach read speeds of up to 1250 MB/s. It has a metal enclosure to ensure durability and vent holes to increase heat dissipation
The Blackjet TX-1S is priced at $249.99 and begins shipping in August, 2019.
