Bitmovin Returns To IBC With Encoding And Analytics

Bitmovin, a provider of cloud-based video streaming technology, is exhibiting its encoding, player and analytics products at IBC 2019.

On the encoding front it will demonstrate per-title encoding and multi-codec streaming through its container-based architecture designed for virtualization. This allows media companies to deploy contemporary virtualized encoding servers across a variety of environments from full cloud, to fully on-premise, or hybrid combinations in between.

Then the firm is showing its Bitmovin Player, designed to embrace multiple incompatible devices with ability to deliver platform updates as well as new streaming formats/codecs with built-in content protection and advertising support. On the analytics front, Bitmovin Analytics focuses on both video performance and audience behavior to underpin decision making. Service providers and content owners can monitor end-to-end video performance metrics from the encoder through to playback and make adjustments to improve the viewing experience.

Bitmovin will also be bringing its interactive, hands-on developer learning lab to IBC for the first time. This four-hour workshop provides attendees with advanced, practical techniques for enhancing video streaming workflows, including best practices.
