TransMedia Dynamics (TMD) has completed client certification of its Mediaflex-UMS Content Supply Chain platform with Spectra Logic’s BlackPearl Converged Storage System. The solution is integrated via the Spectra BlackPearl RioBroker interface, a new software front-end. Together, BlackPearl and Mediaflex-UMS allow users in media and entertainment to store and manage data on object storage disk, tape and cloud using unified content management provided by TMD.
“BlackPearl with Mediaflex-UMS is an ideal fit for data-intensive applications, particularly for customers in media and entertainment, audiovisual and government,” said Ben Cousens, TMD product manager. “We chose to partner with Spectra Logic due to BlackPearl’s modern approach to data management and rich feature set which translates into significant time and money savings for customers.”
