STN Achieves Full Certification Of Its Teleport From The World Teleport Association

The World Teleport Association (WTA) has announced that STN has achieved Tier 3 full certification of its Dob (Slovenia) teleport under WTA’s Teleport Certification Program.

STN becomes the first teleport in Slovenia to achieve full certification and bring the number of fully-certified teleports around the world to 26.

Full Certification under the WTA program is the result of a comprehensive data-collection and inspection process. A teleport operator completes a +170-item questionnaire and submits it to WTA. The Association analyses the data based on standards established by its Certification Committee and issues the Provisional Certification based on the self-reported information. The teleport then has six months to achieve Full Certification.

To achieve Full Certification under WTA’s program, an auditor is dispatched to visit the teleport, provide independent validation of the data submitted in the questionnaire, and identify additional factors that may positively or negatively affect the score. Full Certification is issued at a Tier number from 1 through 4, of which 4 represents the highest degree of excellence, and remains in effect for 3 years.

“We are very proud to receive the WTA full teleport certification which is a very highly regarded and recognised independent standardised evaluation. At STN we take great pride in our facility and the high level of services we provide to our respected clients from all around the world. We have always had an open and honest approach to our business and this full certification further proves the high level of professionalism and dedication we provide to our customers, partners and the industry. Elevated service performance capabilities bring STN into a new era of teleports and industry opportunities.”
