K-Tek Introduces Stingray Utility Hip Pack

K-Tek has introduced a hip pack designed by and for sound utility and boom operators.

K-Tek said the Stingray Utility Hip Pack provides two compartments, one with a built-in organizer. It offers places to hold equipment, tools, a mobile phone and other accessories.

Comfortable to handle, with a soft corner curved design, the carrier is equally useful on-set and off. Its adjustable wide fabric waistband and padded exterior lets it be worn in a number of ways: holster style with the stay-in-place resizable and removable thigh-strap, as a fanny-pack, or cross shoulder.

Two sections offer wrap-around zippers for quick access. The main compartment measures 10 x 10 x 3-inches while the front compartment is an ample 7 x 8.5-inches. The pack features soft orange lining with velour and mesh pockets, a view-through vinyl-backed mesh section and elasticized fabric pouches.

An everyday piece of work-wear, the black-colored pack is large enough to accommodate your favorite portable mixer for stealth recording. Small elastic pouches within are sized to fit Stingray KSLP1 Lav pouches, and a host of items like cables, adapters, tape, pens and cleaning kits.

The Stingray Utility Hip Pack weighs 14 ounces. It is priced at $123.50.
