SCISYS has Upload System for Mobile Reporting

The dira! Upload App
SCISYS, which markets the dira! news production manager, has a new Upload System for cross-media productions. It has been designed to quickly transfer multimedia content from a PC or a smartphone directly into a stations’ production and playout systems.
Although part of the dira! product line it is equally possible to integrate the software with other production systems or to export the content into various formats. It can be operated either on premise or in the cloud at the customer’s discretion.
The features include:
- Combination of arbitrary files – photos, videos, audios, pdfs etc. – in a container and upload your multimedia material as one single package. Just cover breaking events, and the content stays together as long as needed.
- Metadata for each file and for each container make it easy for editors and automation systems to find, interpret and process the uploaded assets.
- Feedback: get clear information about the transmission status by a status icon and an e-mail alert.
- The Upload App keeps uploading even if it is in the background. Moreover, in case of a connection loss, uploads are automatically continued as soon as possible.
- The Upload Web Client always fits perfectly to screen size and is easy to use from any device.
- TLS encrypted communication paths ensure security and privacy.
