Switchblade’s Splyce Provides Easy NDI Conversion

This new appliance can bring multiple HD-SDI sources into a NDI environment.

The Switchblade Splyce X4 is a small form-factor computer with a 4" x 4" footprint. It automatically converts four SDI sources to NDI, behaving as a stand-alone appliance. It is an external device, powered by vMix, designed to bring live SDI sources into a NDI production environment.

Splyce X4 is a full computer that includes USB3 and HDMI ports for access to internal menus. It can also be used without a keyboard, mouse or monitor for application programming interface (API) commands to start and stop streaming or recording, or control other functions. It records to SSD, USB or a SD card. The solution is available via broadcast equipment distributors and the Switchblade website.
