Keeping Pace with the Demand for Live Entertainment at the 2018 NAB NY Show

At the 2018 NAB NY Show, a panel of leading experts in their fields discuss the latest technological advances and in Live entertainment coverage, and how these advancements come with new challenges from consumers and advertisers.

Discussions on the topic came into particular focus following the record-breaking delivery of live programming by the FIFA World Cup this past summer. Reaping the most viewers, and spanning the largest range of viewing platforms, the unmatched coverage has not only revolutionised live event coverage, but also changed the demand and expectations of consumers.

Now, audiences do not only expect quality coverage and distribution of live entertainment, but demand they be provided several viewing platforms to choose from, as well as a viewing experience privy of interference or glitches.

At the "Keeping Pace with the Demand for Live Entertainment" session, an abundance of information and a variety of industry perspectives will be shared on the future of live entertainment by experts from both traditional and e-sports fields. Stuart Lipson, the Executive Director of eSports Ad Bureau, and Steve Davis, the Chief Revenue Officer of Ooyala, will lead the panel of speakers as they discuss the incredible advancements and implications of contemporary live entertainment.

The session will take place on Thursday, October 18th at 11:45 AM - 12:15 PM on Stage 3.
