Gitzo Introduces Smallest Carbon Fiber Tripod
Gitzo has introduced the Mini Traveler tripod, calling it the world’s smallest carbon fiber tripod.
The Gitzo Mini Traveler is designed for low-angle, point-of-view and behind-the-scenes video and stills capture. The tripod weighs a mere 9.35 ounces and can handle payloads weighing up to 6.9 pounds. Gitzo is a Manfrotto company.
With legs fully extended, videographers can set a camera to just less than seven inches above the shooting surface, or as low as two inches. When folded, the Mini Traveler measures 8.6-inches, making it easy to stow in all but the smallest of camera bags.
Included with each Mini Traveler is a Gitzo GH1328TQD Ball Head.
The Gitzo Mini Traveler is available in a finish choice of black or classic noir décor.
