ATTO Technology Demos 8K Storage And Connectivity to a New Range of Production Tools

ATTO says it’s the only company which can meet the demanding needs of 4K, 6K and 8K video content creation across all storage and network connectivity types including direct-attached storage (DAS), network-attached storage (NAS), and storage area networks (SAN) for workstations, mobile workstations and servers.

The live ATTO demos at the RAI include:

ATTO FastFrame and ThunderLink Ethernet Connectivity for Avid NEXIS Demonstrates a high-performance and low latency storage solution allowing for greater scalability and collaboration

ATTO Celerity and ThunderLink 32Gb Fibre Channel Connectivity for Shared Storage Solution Demonstrates a low latency and high throughput solution for real-time demands of 4K and 8K video applications

ATTO ExpressSAS GPU-Accelerated Noise and Grain Reduction Solution Demonstrates real time 16-bit 4K video processing with ATTO and NVIDIA for workstations running WaveletBeam Grain & Noise Reducer

ATTO also announced that their ThunderLink 40GbE and 10GbE Thunderbolt 3 adapters and 40GbE FastFrame Network Interface Cards (NICs) have been certified for use with the latest Avid NEXIS collaborative shared storage solutions.

The advanced Avid NEXIS | FS file management system enhances collaboration and maximizes production efficiency by enabling editors to work with a host of tools from Avid, AdobeApple and Grass Valley. Production efficiency has also been accelerated with the recent announcement of Avid NEXIS support for 40GbE client connectivity.
