Virtual Reality took to sea to help sailing fans gain a new perspective on the 2018 Congressional Cup regatta held off Long Beach Veterans Memorial Pier in April. The VR production relied on a partnership between the Long Beach Yacht Club’s media team and several technology firms, including TVU NetworksSamsungTelstra and BOXX.TV.

New AR technology was showcased in videos featuring historic moments and key memorable goals from World Cup history. The campaign, Telemundo Deportes’ Panini AR experience was created in collaboration with VR Americas and a finalist for “Best Campaign” at the 9th Annual Augmented World Expo 2018 Auggie Awards.
