Cantemo Adds AWS Elemental Transcoding To Iconik

An API integration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) features interoperability between Cantemo iconik MAM and AWS Elemental MediaConvert to facilitate transcodes and asset management.

AWS Elemental MediaConvert is a file-based video transcoding service that allows anyone, with any size content library, to transcode on-demand content for broadcast and multiscreen delivery.

Cantemo iconik is described as a hybrid video hub for managing, sharing, and collaborating on media. It also enables customers to leverage other AWS services, including cloud storage with Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), global content delivery using Amazon CloudFront, and deep learning-based image and video analysis with Amazon Rekognition. Assets can be searched based on highly specific information about the content itself.

Parham Azimi, CEO, Cantemo, commented: “Our customers are challenged with delivering content to multiple devices and regions, meaning a range of different versions of every piece of content. AWS Elemental MediaConvert enables easy transcoding to make sure the video is in the right format for the right device. By pairing that with iconik, our customers can keep those versions organized and ensure the right version is delivered to the right device at the right time.”
