Camplex Introduces Passive CWDM Multiplexers/Demultiplexers at NAB

Camplex has introduced passive CWDM Multiplexers/Demultiplexers at NAB that increase fiber bandwidth to existing fiber infrastructures.

Camplex said the new line of bi-directional, passive CWDM Multiplexers and Demultiplexers avoids the expense of additional fiber cables and installation costs while increasing bandwidth by sending three to 18 signals over a single fiber optic cable.

The mux combines signals to transmit over the fiber cable and the demux separates the signals at the receiver end. Models are available with 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, or 18 channels and in various wavelengths. Individual pigtails are labeled with corresponding wavelengths.
